MARGRAVE / MARGRAVINE: military nobleman of border countries
EARL / COUNTESS: nobleman above viscount and below marquess (also knows as count)
VISCOUNT / VISCOUNTESS: a nobleman above baron, but below earl.
BARON / BARONESS: nobleman below viscount. lowest peerage.
