Hey, um, everyone. I'm Hannelore Breeland, though people who are close to me sometimes call me 'Hanners'. My mother prefers my real name of course, while my father calls me 'Gresskar'. Of course that nickname will seem really weird but that's because it's a foreign word for pumpkin. Oh yeah, it's a Norwegian word, see, I'm from Norway. Not only am I from Norway but I'm also in the Norwegian Royal Family.
Not really a huge shock, especially since this is an application to go to a school full of royalty. It seems shocking to me that my family isn't the only one like it out there and we're not even the richest or most powerful. My brother, Mike, will see the school as an opportunity to play politics behind fathers back, but I don't know, I try not to get involved in any of that.
I'm the second child in my family, Mike being the older of us. Fortunately that puts him first in line for the crown, meaning I can escape that frustration and stress. I already have enough stress problems. See, I suffer from a pretty severe form of OCD, and my parents would rather that not come out during my time at school here. And according to my mother 'it better not' and my brother 'think about all the people touching your stuff!' I'll admit, the idea of other people around my stuff... it gets to me, kind of messes with my head. It's all the germs and dirt and everyone's fingerprints and their own filth. Thinking about that, yeah, it could make my hyperventilate.
I'm not as 'into' the whole royalty thing like other girls my age but I'll admit, I probably wouldn't survive if I had an average life. Maids help keep things clean in my room so I don't exhaust myself cleaning, I can acquire any needed gizmos, like my iPad whom I affectionately call Gizzit.
How will I do at school? I don't honestly know. I've been tutored most of my life so the educational part of school won't be a problem. But will I be able to mingle with people of my own age and social standing? I doubt it, I'll be seen as the weird girl who likes things too clean.
